Lotte is very stressed. Here is why.
1) I'm applying for one of the positions on the student union council. It's either going to be anti-racism or women's (which means I get to work with Kate the women's officer, yayayayay) secretary, not sure which, but I think I have more of a chance of getting anti-racism. After what happened on Sunday, I'm even more determined to do it. I didn't want to do the disability secretary because I just don't think it would have worked out. The election's not for ages but I'm shitting it.
2) My History essay is a big steaming pile of lame, and if I get even a pathetic 45-50% off Dr Jeffries, I'll be a happy woman.
3) Everyone apart from me and Birgall have sorted their housing. Ange says loads of people are having housing crises, but it's still bloody annoying. So far, Miriam is in with friends from school, Tori with her Nigerian mates, Joe with Ange, some guy off her course and maybe Duncan, and Steve with some guys from London. Birgall isn't sure if he wants to move in with me, and neither is Clare. I feel like a cock for not asking her earlier.
4) I've been cutting again and having weird moodswings. It's not homesickness, it's just...something.
On a lighter note:
1) It snowed last night and me, Joe, Duncan, Ange, Birgall, Lorraine and some of Flat 35 had a snowfight and made snow angels and stuff. Flat 32 are probably fucked off because we chucked snow through their kitchen window - Ben got hit. Still, serves them right for being boring cocks and not appreciating the white stuff. (This does not include Megan and Sean, they rock.) Ange managed to hit Philosophy Phil and some girls in Flat 35 but they didn't mind. Jack (another Flat 35 fella) was trying to slide down the hill on a piece of cardboard. Eventually I copped out because I didn't have gloves and my fingers were killing me, so I went in and stuck my head out the kitchen window and shouted "Come and get me" at some guys who we'd been snowfighting earlier. They managed to get a snowball in through the window, amazing considering how high up our window is. Apparently, a huge gang of Irishmen (and no, said huge gang of Irishmen did not include Owen) were chasing the others around Oak House! I just love how snow turns us all into small children, even I was running around going "Ooh look at the snow". Duncan wasn't impressed, but then he's used to it.
2) Me, Ange, Duncan, Joe, Birgall, Tori and Joe's mate Bethan went for a curry in Monsoon Nights. Somehow we got onto the topic of the twat who married his telly (Rob told me this, I hope he isn't lying, just so I can say "Ha, told you so" to Joe.)
The Wedding Ceremony For The Twat Who Married His Telly
Priest: "Do you take this TV to be yr lawful wedded TV, to have and to hold, to love and to cherish, through Trisha and Wife Swap, in power cuts and in health, in high resolution and black and white fuzziness, till an eventual breakdown doth part you?"
Husband: "I do."
3) We're all off to 5th Avenue tomorrow.
4) Wade (Joe's boyfriend) came in extremely pissed last night, chucked a snowball at Joe and hugged me on the stairs going "LOTTEEEEEEEE!" (amazingly he didn't fall off). I don't think Joe was too pleased!
